TOP TEN TO VISIT IN ITALY ..... OUR ART CITIES

LE NOSTRE MERAVIGLIOSE CITTA’ D’ARTE
OUR  MARVELLOUS ART CITIES

ROME
Let me tell you, last August I went to Rome with my family: it’s a fantastic city!
I really recommend you to visit Rome, if you like a cultural holiday: there are many important and historical monuments that can bring you directly into the past, in the Roman period.
In the Coliseum you will image the fights between gladiators and wild animals. Coliseum is a huge monument frequented by a great number of visitors.
Outside you could try a ride on a chariot towed by horses.
Then you could see the President of Republic’s residence called Quirinale.
Oh, don’t forget take a look at the Circo Massimo ruins! Just take a dive into the past living part of the history of Italy.
The sunset in Rome is beautiful and colourful and vibrant: the evening is marvellous the city is full of lights!

Perciò, vieni in Toscana!

FLORENCE AND TUSCANY

Would you stay wordless? Go to Tuscany, precisely in Florence, an amazing art city with its magnificent monuments.
Ponte Vecchio” on Arno’s river is charming in the evening and you’ll be bewitched in front of marble statues like David or by its amazing museums!
Be careful, you’d better bring with you a packed lunch because eating could be very expensive...
If you don’t like the city’s confusion go to the surroundings near Siena, there you can see many lovely gentle hills of cypress and olives trees.
You can delightfully eat in a farm holidays, tasting the delicious local cuisine, absorbed in a nice, pleasant countryside landscape.
  Then, try Tuscany!

Cari amici,

Dear friends,
let me introduce you to one of the most beautiful city of Italy
Located in the north-east area, in the Veneto region , on the Adriatic sea: Venice.
When I got there firstly I didn’t actually like it, later while walking I found it really characteristic, fascinating .
Further Venice is a unique city in the world: there aren't streets, in fact it was built on the water and houses do have wood’s stilts.
Several canals, the most famous is called Canal Grande, cross the city, more there aren’t cars, only boats and characteristics gondolas offer tourists sightseeing.
In the city centre you might visit the Palazzo Ducale with a façade framed by marvelous decorations from renaissance period, then extraordinary churches and museums.
I particularly appreciate one of them the museum of Music History.
The most famous church is the San Marco's Basilica, with its four bronze horses, the famous Roman mosaics and frescoes inside.
In front of the cathedral come forward beautiful old palaces and the bell tower: the San Marco’s square is always crowded by a lot of tourists and hungry pigeons, don’t miss it !

VERONA

Cari amici ,

Dear friends,
we are telling you about beauties of Verona a large city in the north- east site of Italy, in Veneto, a region that ends in the Adriatic sea.
We went there together this summer and it was great!

Oh well, we apologize,
we forgive to introduce ourselves…
We are Alida & Emma and as you may rightly have thought,
we are very close friends!’

The city is really crowded during the weekends.
One of the most spectacular attraction of the city is certainly the ARENA: an ancient open amphiteathre built in the Roman period, internationally famous for the large-scale opera performances given there.
It is one of the best preserved ancient structures of its kind.
In the Arena are represented classic operas and lyrics, the most famous from Italy.
In this particular setting operas turn out into unique musical events that can leave tup to twenty thousands spectators breathless.
We saw the BARBIERE di SIVIGLIA, written by Rossini: wonderful!

In the city centre there is also GIULIETTA’s house, with its famous balcony, where every night Romeo used to play a serenade to his loved.
To get there you walk through a lane where you can find every sort of tourists gadgets.
Don’t forget Verona is the best place you can ever find to do some shopping.
An unmissable destination , a magic experience!

TOP TEN TO VISIT IN ITALY ..... OUR MOUNTAINS !

LE NOSTRE MONTAGNE

Friuli Venezia Giulia e Trentino Alto Adige

CLAUT

This year you should spend your summertime in Friuli, our region, in the mountains.
In the Natural Park of the Dolomiti Orientali is located Claut.
This small nice village has many characteristic houses, which are made by stones.

There, the nature is wild and gorgeous!
The high mountains raise up to the sky and on their top there is only clean air and solid rock. I explored many small woods and I found viper eggs, hawk eggs and the skin left by a viper.
                           I felt free and thoughtless.

FUSINE

Be’!

I can advise an holiday in Fusine too, a peaceful and unspoilt site which left me breathless. Fusine is located in our region Friuli, in the Alpi Giulie mountains and there are neither cars or houses just great forests and boundless natural parks.

You may admire astonished the spectacular scenary of these two litlle alpine lakes with the most limpid and clear water in the world!
All around stand up high firs like monuments of emerald green and over them a sky like a topaz and when the sun goes down...

Believe me, it was just amazing:
bright colours, the darkness silently coming, letting the sky free to change its colours again!
What else… a marvellous place where, if you are an artist, you can experience all kind of green !!!

Do you love nature, do you really like trekking into some green woods, finding an infinity of plants and flowers a great variety of animals, visiting scientific and naturalistic museums which tell stories of kings , princesses, sorcereres and tales of lost times?”

Then, you can admire them all with your family in San Vigilio di Marebbe, in Val Badia.

Let me tell you: it’ s fantastic to visit the Trentino’s mountains with all your family: a place where mother nature abounds and is easily accessible, giving you a source of joy and wonder.
If you want to experience this emotion you should absolutely have a picnic on a flowered meadow, silently listening to the music and the sounds of nature.
Mountains, enchanted valleys, flowers and many wild animals can be seen on treks. Free your mind and think positive!
"  Look at the nature wonders of our Dolomiti, follow my advice ...
and have a memorable holiday to be experienced with all your senses!”
