Visit Bundoran

Location



Bundoran is one of Irelands best known seaside resorts ,the ideal family holiday destination and renowned as a surfer's paradise. Located in the south west of Donegal Bay where the Atlantic Ocean rolls onto the blue flag beach, the town is flanked by the impressive Darty and Benbullen Mountains.

Surfing



Bundoran is a great place to go surfing. It's shimmering green waters bear the bount of some of the Atlantic's most thunderous moods and it's shoreline presents a series of headlands and flat rock reefsheet face directly into nearly constant swell. This, the most mystical of Irish counties of the highest quality waves on jade-coloured shores it's not exactly the tropics but it's definetly a top 10!

W.B Yeats Trail.


W.B Yeats was born in 1865 in Dublin.
His life was dovated to writing and raising the Irish nation through his art.
His father, John Butler Yeats, wishing to train as an artist, move the family to London, where Jack Yeats was born.
Both brothers, however, spent alot their childhood years in Sligo with their grandparents and discovered how beautiful this county was. Follow in his footsteps and discover his favourites part of Sligo on his walking trail.

Sligo surfing Club


This is Sligo's best surfing club which opened way back in the 70s. The club has its own excellent facilities including meeting rooms, changing facilities, showers and board storage rooms over-looking the beach in Strandhill.

Dublin

Introduction
Dublin is the capital city of Ireland. It is Ireland's number one tourist destination with a population of over 1 million people. Here are some places to see and things to do:

Trinity College



Trinity College is the oldest university in Ireland. It was founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth of England. It's library contains the Book of  Kells and Brian Boru's harp.

The GPO



The GPO in O'Connell Street was built nearly 200 years ago. During the 1916 Easter Rising it was the headquarters of the rebels. Padraig Pearse read the Proclamation of the Irish Republic from its steps in 1916. Today its the headquarters of An Post.

Croke Park



Croke Park is the principal stadium and headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) Irelands biggest sporting organisation. The stadium is in the heart of the city, a 15 minute walk from the main street (O'Connell Street). It has a capacity of 82,300.

Dublin Zoo




Dublin Zoo is the largest zoo in Ireland and one of Dublin's most popular attractions. It was opened in 1831. It covers over 24 hectares (59 acres) of phoenix park and it was visited in 2010 by over 963,000 visitors.
